Abstract: "It's just too much for me!" Have you had this thought lately? Organizing, planning, decision-making, and coordinating appointments and tasks require constant presence and attention. This alone can be very stressful. But what if your own efforts seem largely futile? Many people are permanently overwhelmed by the multitude of demands in our fast-paced world. Work, family, marriage, and friends—they constantly have to function. But as the number of tasks increases, so does the mental load. The result: everything becomes too much. If these signals are ignored for an extended period, it can lead to physical and mental illness. In this short presentation, our psychologists Petra Ritter and Alexander Witt will show you strategies for staying positive during difficult times. They offer tips on how to regain mental balance. And last but not least, they will discuss with you the crucial role of your own personality when it comes to self-induced stress.
