Supermassive Black Holes and Blue Notes: Advancing the Frontiers of Astrophysics
This interdisciplinary conference brings together leading researchers in astrophysics, cosmology, and theoretical physics to explore the latest advances in the study of supermassive black holes (SMBHs). Held in Montréal, Canada, just before the world-renowned Montreal International Jazz Festival, the event combines scientific rigor with cultural inspiration.
The conference focuses on four core themes:
- Advanced techniques for measuring SMBH properties
- Observations and modeling of SMBHs at the event horizon scale
- Feeding and feedback processes of SMBHs
- Formation and growth of high-redshift SMBHs
With a strong emphasis on collaboration, the format includes invited talks, contributed presentations, poster sessions, and informal discussions. All presentations are expected to be delivered in person at Campus MIL.
Registration will open in early 2026. Pre-registration is available via the official website.
