Accommodation

Accommodation is at the Kloster Seeon monastery. Information on the charges can be found at this link under "Flat-rate conference charge." In short, the cost is around 140 EUR per day including 3 meals, accommodation, coffee breaks, and use of conference facilities.
Outings and special dinners may incur an extra charge.
Rooms at the monastery are singles or twins (no doubles). To allow for a maximal number of participants to benefit from this on-site housing, please let us know if you would be willing to share a room (the daily fee for room+meals would then be 120 EUR). For those travelling with family or accompanying persons, there are numerous possibilities nearby. Contact the LOC at gas2011@mpa-garching.mpg.de for more information.

Travel

Instructions on how to reach Kloster Seeon by car or public transportation can be found following this link.
We will also organize for a bus to take participants from Munich airport to Kloster Seeon on the afternoon of Monday June 13. Departure time will be around 3pm, but will be confirmed at a later time. Additional transportation may be arranged for later arrivals that day. In all cases, please inform us of your arrival time in the form below, such that the transportation schedule can be arranged to accomodate most. Based on demand, there will also be a bus leaving at 3pm from downtown Munich. Please indicate your preference below.
Similarly, there will be a bus taking participants back to the Munich (airport or downtown) right after the end of the conference on Saturday June 18.

Excursion / Conference Dinner

On Friday 17 June, there will be a bus to bring participants for an afternoon of sightseeing in Salzburg. Less than an hour drive from Kloster Seeon, the birthplace of Mozart is filled with sights and attractions that will please everyone. The conference dinner will take place there in the evening (restaurant TBD).
