ORIGINS RU-D Science Day
The ORIGINS RU-D Science Day is a one-day in-person workshop bringing together scientists from across the Munich area working on the implications of cosmic evolution for habitability across various scales.
The event aims to create an opportunity for researchers at all career stages to exchange ideas, learn about each other's work, and encourage collaborations that extend beyond the event itself. It focuses on the central questions of Research Unit D, including how physical processes govern the cascade of scales driving the formation of galaxies, stars, and planets, how cosmic matter is processed and transformed across scales, how feedback processes shape and enrich turbulent matter, how observations can constrain the underlying physical processes, and how a synthetic Universe can be built for robust comparisons between theory and observation. Participants are encouraged to submit an abstract to present their work, with presentation slots of approximately 20 minutes, and work in progress is especially welcome.
