Seven early career researchers from diverse disciplines present their work in a Science Slam format on the theme "One Planet – Many Questions", hosted by the CAS Research Focus "Planetary Health" and the LMU Graduate Center. Registration is required. The event will be recorded and posted online.
At this Science Slam, researchers present their
work in vivid, accessible, and entertaining ten-minute talks, using any
aids — slides, props, live experiments — to make complex ideas clear and
engaging. The audience votes for the most compelling performance.
The winner and runner-up will present at the GC
Speed Slam (3-minute PhD Pitch) during the EUGLOH event (October 21–24,
2026), with the GC Speed Slam taking place on October 22. The event is
moderated by Lena Bouman (CAS LMU) and Florian Kniffka (LMU Graduate
Center). The recording will be posted on the CAS website and on YouTube.
