Munich Large-Scale Structure Day
Munich Large-Scale Structure Day
- Date: Jun 30, 2026
- Time: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM (Local Time Germany)
- Location: MPA & MPE
- Host: ORIGINS Cluster
The Munich Large-Scale Structure Days bring together researchers from southern Germany and beyond interested in the large-scale structure of the Universe, with the aim of fostering exchanges and collaborations. The event features invited talks by external speakers and local contributions, covering galaxy clustering, gravitational lensing, AI in cosmology, numerical simulations, and more.
The event takes place at two venues: the morning
session (09:00–12:30) is held in the large MPA seminar room E.0.11;
the afternoon session (14:00–17:00) takes place in the large MPE seminar
room 1.1.18b.
Topics include galaxy clustering, beyond 2-point
statistics, galaxy clusters, gravitational lensing, tensions in ΛCDM, AI
in cosmology, and numerical simulations. Abstract submissions are
invited from all participants.
The event is part of the activities of the ORIGINS Excellence Cluster.
