Open SkAI 2026 gathers researchers working at the intersection of fundamental AI research and astronomy, welcoming submissions from astronomers, AI/ML researchers, and anyone working across these fields. The conference is hosted by the NSF-Simons AI Institute for the Sky at Northwestern University.Registration fees: Student $50 / Early-bird $125 / Regular $200.
The U.S. National Science Foundation-Simons Foundation-funded National AI Institute for the Sky (“SkAI Institute”) is hosting its second annual conference, Open SkAI 2026. Open SkAI 2026 will be a four-day event to enhance and stimulate new Astro-AI research directions and facilitate new collaborative activities between the AI industry, astronomers, and AI researchers.
