This workshop brings together theoretical and experimental experts to address key questions in neutrino astrophysics, including cosmic neutrino sources, multi-messenger synergies, and future detection strategies.
Neutrino astrophysics is a rapidly evolving field at the intersection of particle physics and astrophysics, offering unique insights into extreme cosmic environments. This four-week workshop will explore recent discoveries from detectors like IceCube and KM3NeT, which have identified high-energy neutrinos from diverse astrophysical sources. Participants will discuss three core themes: the origins of cosmic neutrinos, synergies with multi-messenger observations (gamma-rays, cosmic rays), and optimization of next-generation detection techniques. The event includes dedicated sessions on galactic and extragalactic neutrino sources, a topical workshop on future experiments, and collaborative discussions to advance the field.
