"Max Planck Innovation – From Research to Impact: Patents, Licensing, Start-ups & MAX!mize"
Information event on how Max Planck Innovation supports researchers with patents, licensing, start-ups and the MAX!mize incubation program.

Your research has the potential to create real impact beyond academia. This event introduces how Max Planck Innovation helps researchers identify patentable inventions early, protect intellectual property, and evaluate market potential for technologies ranging from materials and software to new processes.

The speakers will outline how patents and licensing can be used to transfer technologies to industry, including support with market analysis, valuation and contract negotiations. For those interested in founding a start-up, the team will present available support from idea development and business models to grant applications, investor contacts and funding options.

The MAX!mize incubation program will also be introduced, with personalised coaching, workshops on topics such as pitching and finance, and networking opportunities for early-stage deep-tech ventures within the Max Planck environment.
