Guest lecture on triboelectric charging and its relevance for planet formation.
The talk will present experimental and theoretical perspectives on how particle collisions and triboelectric charging can lead to ionization in protoplanetary disks and planetary atmospheres, with possible implications for dust coagulation, atmospheric electricity and planet formation dynamics.
