Being legal in Germany — your residence permit: options, opportunities and the new immigration act
An online seminar organized by the Planck Academy for international colleagues. Two experienced International Officers — Carolyn Fritzsche (MPI-CBG) and Maike Trost (MPI-IS) — will outline residency categories and eligibility, application and extension timelines, recent changes in the immigration act, and practical tips for travel, work, and renewals.
Audience: international researchers, non-EU nationals, and administrative staff supporting internationals.
Format & duration: 60-minute talk followed by a 30-minute Q&A (Zoom).
