Two-day workshop bringing together the Munich and Garching black hole community to share research highlights and foster collaborations.

The ORIGINS Black Hole Days aim to unite researchers from institutes in Munich and Garching with an interest in black holes. Organised by the ORIGINS Connector 1 “Black Holes”, this two-day workshop will feature a broad range of topics, including:

Supermassive Black Holes
Active Galactic Nuclei
Binaries and Gravitational Waves
Primordial Black Holes

Invited speakers include Dr. Aleksandra Olejak (MPA), Dr. Valeriya Korol (MPA), Dr. Andrea Merloni (MPE), Prof. Dr. Frank Eisenhauer (MPE/LMU), Prof. Dr. Volker Springel (MPA), Dr. Florian Kühnel (MPP/LMU), Prof. Dr. Gia Dvali (MPP/LMU), and Prof. Dr. Dieter Lüst (MPP/LMU).

The programme will include invited talks, contributed presentations, and opportunities for informal discussions. Researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts for contributed talks.

Registration and abstract submission are open until September 15, 2025.
