DESCRIPTION: Abstract: "It's just too much for me!" Have you had this thoug
ht lately? Organizing\, planning\, decision-making\, and coordinating appo
intments and tasks require constant presence and attention. This alone can
be very stressful. But what if your own efforts seem largely futile? Many
people are permanently overwhelmed by the multitude of demands in our fas
 t-paced world. Work\, family\, marriage\, and friends—they constantly ha
ve to function. But as the number of tasks increases\, so does the mental
load. The result: everything becomes too much. If these signals are ignore
d for an extended period\, it can lead to physical and mental illness. In
this short presentation\, our psychologists Petra Ritter and Alexander Wit
t will show you strategies for staying positive during difficult times. Th
ey offer tips on how to regain mental balance. And last but not least\, th
ey will discuss with you the crucial role of your own personality when it
comes to self-induced stress.\nSpeaker: Petra Ritter\, Alexander Witt (MPE
