Talk Title: The Stellar Populations of High Redshift Galaxies
Abstract: In recent years the detailed study of stellar populations has moved from the local universe to high redshift, thanks to advances both in observational capabilities and in spectral modelling. I shall review some of the latest results obtained by applying local diagnostic tools to star-forming galaxies at z = 2 -3, focusing in particular on age, mass, metallicity and IMF indicators.
