Talk Title: The chemistry of (not that) simple stellar populations: extragalactic globular cluster systems
Abstract: I will present results from our recent study of the chemistry of extragalactic globular clusters in a large sample of nearby galaxies. The lessons learned on the method (spectroscopy using Lick indices) will be critically reviewed. Insight on the different major star formation epochs in early-type galaxies will be presented. Finally, first results on the type of star formation events and chemical enrichment will be will be shown.
