Dear Colleagues,

This is the final announcement for the meeting 'Reionization@Ringberg:
the cosmic evolution of helium and hydrogen', to be held on 24-27th
March at Ringberg Castle.  The participant list and scientific
programme are available on the conference website, and further
important information regarding the meeting may be found below.

TRANSPORTATION:

1) Airport bus

Pre-arranged transportation by bus to and from the conference venue
is available at the following times.

** Monday, March 23rd **

Departs MPA at 16:45 for Munich airport

Departs Munich airport at 17:30 for Ringberg Castle.  Please note the
pick up area will be the coach parking area at TERMINAL 2 ARRIVALS.
There will be a sign in the bus window indicating 'MPA/Ringberg
conference'.  A member of the LOC will be present.

Before arriving at Ringberg Castle, the bus will also make a brief
stop at the Hotel zur Post in Kreuth.

** Friday, March 27th **

Departs Ringberg Castle at 14:00 for Munich Airport, arriving at
Terminal 2 departures.  Travel time from Ringberg will be between
1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic.  After the drop off at the airport,
the bus will then proceed to MPA, which will be the last stop.

2) Taxis

For those staying at the hotel, pre-arranged taxis to the Castle will
depart at 8.30am every morning (Tuesday-Friday) for the start of each
day at 9am.  When returning to the hotel in the evening, taxi times
are flexible, and these can be arranged each evening by member of the
LOC within half an hour of notice.

Additionally, on the Monday evening, there will be a pre-arranged taxi
service leaving from Hotel zur Post at 6.45pm.  This is to enable
conference participants at the hotel to attend the Castle for dinner
at 7pm on Monday if they wish.

ACCOMMODATION:

Accommodation during the conference has been arranged at Ringberg
Castle and the nearby "Hotel zur Post" in Kreuth.  Unless you have
been otherwise informed, you are responsible for payment of your
accommodation costs.

For those staying in the castle, the price of full board will be 100
Euro per day.  This includes the cost of lodging per night (55 Euro)
and all meals.  Further details may be found on the Ringberg Castle
website.

For hotel residents, the rate is 60 Euro per night including a buffet
breakfast in the morning.  However, if you are staying at the hotel
and wish to take advantage of lunch, dinner and coffee breaks at the
Castle, please note a charge of 38 Euro per day must also be settled
with the Castle before leaving.

REGISTRATION:

Registration will commence after dinner on the evening of Monday 23rd.
Please note that a fee (CASH ONLY) of 100 Euro is payable on registration.

PRESENTATIONS:

Invited presentations are 25mins + 5mins questions.  Contributed
presentations are 15mins + 5 mins questions.  You may use your own
laptop for your presentation, although local laptops will also be
available.

SOCIAL EVENTS:

A 4-course conference banquet with wine will be held on Wednesday
evening in the castle at 7pm.

In addition, there will be a special 'Bavarian style' evening on
Thursday.
