There are three social events scheduled:

1. Reception/Registration:
There will be a reception in downtown Garching on Sunday, September 9, at 18:00h, where participants can register and enjoy a drink with old friends. It takes place at the City Hall (RATSSAAL) located at Rathausplatz 1. The mayor of Garching will be at the reception to welcome us. To get to the reception, you should first go to the Garching subway station - see Travel Information on the conference web pages - and then follow the signs that the organizers will put in place. A dinner buffet will be served at 19:00h. Registration will also be open before the first talk on Monday morning.

2. Conference Dinner:
The conference dinner will be on Wednesday, September 12, at 19:00h, at the Seehaus restaurant in the Englischer Garten in Munich. This charming restaraunt is very nicely located on the shores of the Kleinhesseloher lake in one of the most beautiful city parks in the world! (See here for further details.) Appetizers will be served before the meal. Participants can choose either an Italian Buffet (also suitable for vegetarians) or a Bavarian Buffet. Participants will receive detailed information on how to get there at registration. The conference organizers are subsidizing part of the cost of the meal. The final price per participant is 30 EUR. Because we need to tell the restaurant how many people are coming to the dinner, we will need you to confirm your attendance and pay when you register for the conference.

3. Beer and Brez'n:
After the closing panel discussion on Friday, let's enjoy a cold beer party in the MPA/MPE garden!
