Moreover, below there are links to the BUDDA code as well as to an Atlas of Structural Analysis on Galaxies, which are both products of my Ph.D. studies, don't miss them! And here is a link to the BUDDA home page... for those who don't know, BUDDA stands for BUlge/Disk Decomposition Analysis, and is a program I helped to develop during my M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies...

As a result from BUDDA and my Ph.D. thesis, here is a link to An Atlas of Structural Analysis on Galaxies. This is very lengthy, so the images here are reduced in quality and size. However, there's no reason for panic, as I can provide data upon request. Besides, the Atlas will be published soon in two papers. The first one is that one which introduces BUDDA, and the second is the first one with BUDDA v2.1 (look here).

I also make available here a FORTRAN source code that makes 2D analytical deprojection of bars, giving deprojected values of bar length, ellipticity and position angle from a list of projected values. This code was developed and used in one of my last papers (see below).

• Surface Photometry of Galaxies in Loose Groups: a study on the structure and evolution of galaxies in high density environments, it was done during undergraduate course and has won the Marcius Giorgetti Prize in the Physics area, which is given each year to the best undergraduate research work at the University of São Paulo. • The Secular Evolutionary Scenario for the Formation of Bulges: a study done for my M.Sc. thesis, it is based on radial color gradients and bulge/disk ratios in late-type spiral galaxies. Here is a link to my M.Sc. thesis.
• On the Vertical Structure of Stellar Bars in Galaxies: a study for my Ph.D. thesis, it is based on surface photometry and spectroscopy of face-on galaxies, and on N-body experiments. Here is a link to my Ph.D. thesis.
• The Structure of Elliptical and Lenticular Galaxies: a study done in collaboration with Dr. Ronaldo E. de Souza and Dr. Sandra dos Anjos. It was the first systematic application of BUDDA (look here too).
