Dear Colleagues,

the date of the Conference is fast approaching. This message contains
important information for both Participants and Pre-registered people
currently on the waiting list. 

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM:
The draft program of the Conference is now available on our website at:

Please note that small changes to the program may still be possible.
The choice of the oral contributions was extremely difficult because
of the large number of very high quality abstracts that we have
received. More than a half of the talk requests could not be
accommodated. We will of course be very happy to accept these
contributions as posters. We would be grateful if all those whose
request for a talk could not be met let us know if they do NOT wish to
present a poster.

Finally, we ask all the participants, either speakers or poster
rapporteurs, who have not yet submitted an abstract for their
contribution, to do so within a couple weeks.

HOTEL BOOKING:
For all non-local participants, we have booked about 110 rooms in
the various Hotels in Garching, plus a few (cheaper) rooms in the MPA
guest house here on campus. We will be able to hold these reservations 
UNTIL MAY 20th. Therefore it is extremely important to fill in the
hotel booking form on the Conference website 
(http://www.mpa-garching.mpg.de/~bh-grow/Accomodation/index.html)
BEFORE THURSDAY MAY 20th. After that date, it may be very difficult to
find any kind of accommodation in Garching, as the total capacity of
local hotels is limited. After we have received all your booking
requests, we will accommodate people in the hotels according to the
preferences expressed, as far as possible.
The final confirmation and the notification of your hotel will be sent
to all participants soon after May 20st.

REGISTRATION FEES:
The deadline for the payment of the normal registration fees (200
Euros) HAS BEEN MOVED TO MAY 20th. After that date, all participants
will have to pay an increased fee of 220 Euros. For details about

WAITING LIST:
We expect that few more people will eventually change their plans and
not come to the meeting. Thus the waiting list will be open until
early June, and we will continue to contact people on this list if a
vacancy becomes available.

VISA:
The participants are urged to check themselves whether they are
required to obtain a valid travel visa to enter Germany to attend the
conference (Links to the German Embassies around the world can be
found at the http://www.embassyworld.com/embassy/germany1.htm).
If such visa is required, please contact the LOC/SAC by
email, and an official invitation letter will be sent to you.
