Introduction:

Since its invention in 2001, the general relativistic hydrodynamic code CoCoNuT has been widely applied to simulate compact objects by many international groups. In this meeting we plan to discuss the state of current projects and establish a strategy for the future, both directed at code development and application.

top Conference venue:

The meeting will take place at the linkPfeilExtern.gifMax Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Garching, Germany, from February 11 to 13, 2008, with a possible informal extension to February 15.

top Program:

For anyone interested, on Sunday evening there will be an informal get together from about 19:00 on. We will go to the restaurant "linkPfeilExtern.gifBürgerstuben" in the center of Garching. This restaurant is only about two minutes from the hotel and the subway station. Directions can be found linkPfeilExtern.gifhere.

The meeting will start on Monday morning at 10:00 in the meeting room 005 or 006 in the basement of the linkPfeilExtern.gifMax Planck Institute for Astrophysics.

As the meeting is intended to be rather informal, emphasizing discussions over formal presentations, there is no official program. A tentative program list for guiding the discussion can be found linkPfeil.gifhere.
