The Welcome Reception and Pre-Registration on Sunday afternoon will
be take place at the LMU, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz (at the foyer of
the ``Audimax'').
Excursions

City-Sightseeing Tour Munich and Nymphenburg Castle
Monday, 10 September 2001, 13:30 - 16:30.
Price per person: 36,00 DM incl. bus, english speaking guide,
entrance fee.
Meeting Point:
Conference Office at the LMU, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz.
This sightseeing tour will show you a wide selection of famous
monuments and attractions, including the district ``Schwabing'', the
Royal Palace ``Residenz'' and the city centre ``Marienplatz'' with its
beautiful churches ``Frauen- & Theatinerkirche''. You will also visit
``Nymphenburg'' Castle, the former summer residence of the royal family
with its noble halls and the wonderful park.

General excursion to lake ``Starnberg'' with dinner at the
monestary Andechs (20,00 DM voucher)

Price per person: 20,00 DM
Meeting Point: Conference Office at the Theresienstrasse.
All participants are invited to go altogether to lake Starnberg, a
very popular one day trip for the people of Munich. There you can
enjoy a cruise of 1h on the lake socializing with your friends and
colleagues on a hopefully sunny Indian summer day.
The boat will anchor at the town ``Tutzing''. From there buses will take
you to the famous beer brewery & monastery "Andechs". After a little
hike up the hill the cosy typical Bavarian restaurant will invite you
to taste the ``Andechs'' freshly brewed beer. You can order from the
menu whatever you wish to have. The 20,00 DM voucher will be
credited. The rest has to be paid directly to the waiter. Later buses
will bring you back to Munich. We expect to arrive in Munich LMU at
about 23:00h

Tour ``Neuschwanstein'' Castle Thursday, 13 September 2001, 9:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m.
Price per person: 130,00 DM incl. bus, entrance fee, lunch,
english speaking guide
Meeting Point: Conference Office at the LMU,
Geschwister-Scholl-Platz.
This tour through the alpine landscape will lead us first to the
magnificent Rococo ``Wies'' - church. Afterwards you will visit one of
the most spectacular monuments in Bavaria, the fairy tale castle of
``Neuschwanstein'', built by King Ludwig II. Lunch will be served at a
traditional restaurant nearby the castle. Sneakers are recommended as
you will walk uphill to the castle (approx. 25 Min.)
Booking of Excursions
Please book your tours with the registration form. Should you have any
questions about the program please contact the conference secretariat
CSM.
The feasability of the tours depends on the number of
participants. CSM reserves the right to cancel and refund the tours if
the minimum number ist not reached. Therefore CSM recommends to book
in advance, not on site.
All tours are subject to change. Participation is at your own risk.
Cancellation of Excursions
All cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat CSM.
For cancellations received before 17 August 2001 a refund of 80% will
be granted. No refunds can be made for cancellations after that date.
