The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics (DAA) [MAP] is located in the research building 'Edificio Jeroni Muñoz', a white curved building, in the Burjassot Campus of the University of Valencia.

From the city center, there are two possibilities to get to Burjassot Campus:

• Metro and tram conection: Take the metro 1 (yellow line) at 'Angel Guimera' station (close to the city center) or at 'Turia' station (close to NH-Center Hotel), direction 'Betera/Lliria/Seminari/Paterna'. Changeover in 'Empalme' station and take the tram 4 (blue line) direction 'Fira/Mas del Rosari/V. Andres Estelles/L. Llarga-Terramelar'. Get off at 'V. Andres Estelles' stop. The same tickets are valid for both metro and tram. If you are staying at the 'Colegio Mayor Luis Vives' you can take the tram directly. It is a 10 minutes walk to the 'V. Zaragoza' station. • You can take the bus line 63 at the train station ( 'Bailen' stop or close to the NH Center Hotel ( 'Pius XII - Menendez Pidal' stop) . Take the bus direction 'V. Andres Estelles' get off at the last stop. More information at EMT).

From the airport, you can take a taxi directly to the DAA, since it is relatively close (about 10 minutes). Ask the driver to go to the "Universidad de Valencia, Campus de Burjassot". The price should be around 10 euro. Despite of the short distance, there is no direct metro connection and you should have to go to the city center and back (about 1 hour).

Cable connection will be available at the meeting room. In order to be able to connect you have to provide the MAC address of you laptop's ethernet card (not wireless card) to the organizers. It is convenient that you do this in advance (before you come), since the activation can take several hours. If you have problems finding your Mac address check here.
