As part of its Cosmology Group, MPA hosts a group of people working
actively on Gravitational Lensing. Its main areas of research are:

- strong lensing by galaxy clusters,arc statistics
- weak lensing by galaxy clusters, density profiles
- lensing observables of dark energy
- lensing by spiral galaxies: image statistics
