Data Archive
GASS survey data are processed in the
IDL environment.
Our software package builds on
Phil Perillat's IDL library, a large
collection of software for the processing of Arecibo single-dish data,
and makes use of the
IDL astronomy library maintained at GSFC.
Documentation and processing cookbooks are available to GASS members on the team-only website.
The GASS HI spectral data products will be incorporated into the
Cornell-NAIC Extragalactic HI Digital Archive,
a registered VO node that contains the ALFALFA data releases as well
as other HI datasets (see previous link for details). The archive is SQL and cone searchable and
spectra can be downloaded in VOTable, FITS and ASCII formats. Through VO tools already developed for
ALFALFA, ancillary datasets from GALEX, SDSS, 2MASS etc. will be accessible through the Cornell-NAIC digital
archive as well as via other VO portals.
Catalogs of data extracted from SDSS are available at the MPA website
http://www.mpa-garching.mpg.de/SDSS/
and the NYU website
http://sdss.physics.nyu.edu/vagc/.
GALEX data are maintained at the Multi-mission Archive at Space Telescope (
MAST).
