  • 22 May 1998 typo in CV tables (V909 Sgr is N1941 Sgr)

  • 28 April 1998 catalogue now available at CDS.

  • 2 April 1998 catalogue appeared in A&AS (vol 129, p. 83)

  • 5 Feb 1998 postcript files for hardcopy now available online (see main page); print double-sided and assemble pages according to page numbers.
    Note: the catalogue will appear in A&AS in electronic form only! If you wish to have a paper copy order a "Grüner Bericht" (see below).

    The catalogue is now accepted for publication in Astronomy & Astrophysics Supplement Series.

    Please note that the 6th edition of the CV/LMXB/rel. obj. catalogue supersedes the CV catalogue in "X-Ray Binaries", W.H.G. Lewin, J. van Paradijs, E.P.J. van den Heuvel (Eds.), Cambridge Astrophysics Series 26, Cambridge University Press. Therefore the electronic version of the latter will be deleted shortly.

    On 3 October 1997 a number of online files (and files in the anonymous ftp server) have been changed to include updates and corrections for the following objects. Please update your local copy accordingly.
